Audience:

L3 and M1 Biology in the first place. Also students from other departments, M2, students or affiliated laboratories IBENS (5 to 15 students)

Course objective and description:

The course is organized around "micromodules" presented by members of SPIBEns.
annually SPIBEns offers micromodules 10-12. These subjects Biology or relevant to Biology, validated by the teaching staff of the Department. The content of these micromodules is complementary to the existing offer lessons. A member of the teaching team ensures consistency between different teachings.
choice by the students to follow the micromodules is entirely free. Each micro-module will run for 3 x 1 hour and focus on a topic of choice and the specialty of the speaker.

Planning:

18-19h or 19h-20h one night a week, often three weeks in a row. The date will be set for each course independently.

Assessment / evaluation:

Each micromudule be evaluated. This evaluation will take a variety of formats but preferably light (QCM, written report ...).
To validate the entire module "Insights in Life Sciences by SPIBens" students must take and validate 4 micromodules for a total of 3 ECTS .
validation module can be 1, 2 or 3 years. In addition, any student has the right to monitor and validate micromodules necessarily seek to validate the module (but in this case, no ECTS will be credited).
